Fiftieth Anniversary

A service of celebration and Eucharist was held at Holy Trinity Elgin on Sunday 24 June to commemorate the Reverend Canon Robin Forrest 50 years as a priest. Father Robin trained for the Priesthood at Edinburgh Theological College and was ordained in 1962. Robin served his curacy at St Mary’s Glasgow and held incumbencies at Renfrew Motherwell, Wishaw, Nairn and Forres. Also Dean of the United Diocese of Moray Ross and Caithness from 1992 to 1998.
The Church was full to capacity and following the joyful service all adjourned to the Church Hall for wine and cake.
