Welcome to the Youth Network of the Diocese of Moray, Ross and Caithness—a vibrant, inclusive community for young people of High School age to 25(ish) who are part of the Scottish Episcopal Church across the Highlands of Scotland, Moray and Aberdeenshire.

We believe young people are not just the church of the future—they are the church of today. Whether you’re exploring your faith, seeking fellowship, or looking for opportunities to serve and grow, our Youth Network is here to support and walk with you on your journey.

Our Vision

Our Youth Network exists to:

Encourage young people to grow in their Christian faith.
Provide safe and welcoming spaces for connection and support.
Empower young leaders to use their gifts in their church and community.
Connect young people across our vast diocese, from urban centres to rural parishes.

Who We Are

The Youth Network is coordinated by the Diocesan Youth Officer, Ley-Anne, working alongside local clergy, lay leaders, and volunteers. We are part of the wider Scottish Episcopal Church youth movement and work in partnership with the Provincial Youth Committee.

What We Do

We run a range of events and opportunities throughout the year, including:

Youth Gatherings – Regional meet-ups for fun, worship, games, and reflection.
Annual Retreats & Residentials – A chance to go deeper in faith, build lasting friendships, and take a break from everyday life.
Yeek – Join young people from all over Scotland for a life-changing week of worship, creativity, and community.
Faith in Action Projects – Explore social justice, environmental issues, and ways to live out your faith in your local area.

Where We Are

Our diocese covers a large and beautiful part of northern Scotland, including:

Moray – including Elgin, Forres, and the surrounding communities
Ross – including Dingwall, Tain, and Invergordon
Caithness – including Wick and Thurso

We know travel can be a challenge—so we’re always working to provide transport help or offer hybrid (online and in-person) options where possible.

Whether you’re a regular churchgoer or just curious, you are welcome. The Youth Network is a space where faith can grow, questions can be asked, and you can be yourself—surrounded by people who care.

The Youth Prayer

As we gather, we recognise and welcome God in this space, We pray for everyone who is our family, by blood or by heart and are grateful for all that they do for us.

We pray for all those who are poor and homeless and everyone facing adversity and

inequality, We pray that your people will spread awareness and take action to protect our world, And Lord we pray that our church family continues to grow closer in unity and love.
